How to track your JEE prepration?

There are a few methods to check if you are on the right track to crack jee or not:-banner

Self analysis:-

Sit and think of topics you studied few months back, recall the whole topic from start to end, just list down the concepts which you learned in that topic and how well you know them, if you happen to have forgotten more than 30% of it then you are on the wrong track. Now start solving new problems from the same topic which you never solved and solve both mains and advance level problems, if you are able to solve 60–70+% of them then you are on the right track. Also think in your head, how many topics are there for which you feel that yeah I can solve pretty much everything from this topic:- the number of such topics/total course covered will be directly proportional to your chances in IIT JEE exam.banner_sale_completestudy

Test Analysis:-

Not only studies, test solving is also necessary in case of both IIT JEE Mains and Advanced, if you are able to get well above cut off marks 40%+ on an average basis. Or if you have started to score good then you are on the right track. But if you have achieved saturation at a low percentage or score is going down then you are on the wrong track. Also if your attempt is below 50% and that is because of lack of time availability during paper then I would say you are going reverse.

Current state:- If you are doing coaching then are you able to follow topic or not? If you are not able to follow topics and unable to solve new questions which are not being taught in class then you are not on the right track.
